Toum Tiou is a custom built river cruiser with just ten cabins which was completely refurbished in 2013. The ship’s low draft allows it to gently hug the shoreline, giving access to the remotest of villages and priceless views of rural life on the river banks.
Toum Tiou was custom built for this route and is beautifully fitted out with Cambodian tropical hardwoods, palm wood and woven straw for a classic, colonial look. There are 10 bijou cabins split over two decks, each with air conditioning and small en-suite bathroom with shower. There are four twin bedded cabins and 6 with queen-sized beds.
Public areas include a salon/lounge bar and library, an undercover dining area and an observation deck, ideal for enjoying a G&T at sunset! Classic Khmer, Asian and international dishes are prepared on board. The captain of the ship is the indefatigable Serge Prunier, passionate, energetic and with a store of colourful tales to share.

Our Opinion
This is a lovely, cozy boat with a friendly, professional crew. Cabins are small, and there are more luxurious ships, but Toum Tiou offers genuine value and a unique itinerary.
