Madeleine is a stylish, modern vessel modelled after a classic barge dating from 1926. Brought right up to date with designer fabrics and conveniences such as Wifi, she is fully equipped for 21st century life. At 128ft long and 17ft wide she has a crew of five and can host a maximum of 22 guests in 11 small but stylish twin cabins.

All cabins except one are on the lower deck,  with large windows just above the water line. There is one wheelchair accessible cabin on the upper deck. Each cabin has its own en-suite washroom with shower. There is plenty of storage for bags and possessions.

Upstairs there is a spacious lounge, bar and dining room all with large picture windows – perfect to watch the scenery glide by. There’s a sundeck with loungers and parasols and a Jacuzzi at the prow. The on-board chef provides a glorious spread of freshly prepared local dishes,  with the three course gourmet dinners always a highlight of the day.
