A modern barge built in 2016, Deborah is modelled after a classic barge dating from 1926. Brought right up to date with designer fabrics and conveniences such as WiFi, she is fully equipped for 21st century life.
At 128ft long and 17ft wide she has a crew of five and can host a maximum of 22 guests in 11 small but stylish twin cabins.
10 of the bright twin cabins can be found on the lower deck and all have large windows just above the water line. Each cabin has its own ensuite washroom, which consists of a loo, sink and shower. There is a reading light, power point and storage for bags and possessions. Note: one cabin is wheelchair accessible and as such is located on the upper deck.
On the upper deck there is a spacious lounge, bar and dining room all with large picture windows – perfect to watch the scenery glide by. There’s a sundeck with loungers and parasols and a Jacuzzi at the prow. Meals are taken in the dining room on the upper deck, freshly prepared by the on-board chef. Breakfast is a continental buffet, lunch is a more comprehensive buffet of hot and cold dishes and dinner is a three course gourmet meal served at the table. Both lunch and dinner are served with a complimentary selection of French wines. Most dietary requirements can be catered for if we receive advance notice.
The crew of 5 comprises the captain, chef, boat manager and housekeeping staff. WiFi is available on board for a local charge.
