Day 1: Fly from UK
Rebecca and Dean will depart from London Heathrow today and fly into Bogota overnight.
Day 2: Arrive into Bogota
Arrive into Bogota early this morning. After checking in, Rebecca and Dean will enjoy an afternoon tour of this bustling cosmopolitan city steeped in history!
Day 3: Day at leisure to explore Bogota.
They have a free day to explore Bogota at their own leisure where they can visit the nearby museums, home to paintings and sculptures of Colombia’s most famous artists including Picasso.
Day 4: Fly from Bogota to Medellin
Fly to Medellin this morning. On arrival, Rebecca and Dean will check into their hotel and then enjoy an afternoon bike tour with stunning views of the city along the way.
Day 5: Pablo Escobar Tour
This morning, they will embark on a Pablo Escobar Tour visiting the most important sights of his life. They will then have the rest of the afternoon to roam at their own leisure.
Day 6: El Peñón de Guatapé
Rebecca and Dean will be driven to El Peñón de Guatapé today, the landmark of Colombia! They will take a scenic drive through the Eastern Highlands of Antioquia and climb the Peñol Border to enjoy breathtaking views of the green mountains and blue lakes.
Days 7: Fly from Medellin to Armenia
They will fly from Medellin to Armenia today where they will spend the rest of the day enjoying the lush green valleys, exotic wildlife and balmy climate of this area.
Day 8: Morning coffee tour of Amernia
Rebecca and Dean will enjoy a coffee tour at Hacienda Combia, a 96 acre coffee farm today, learning how coffee is planted and processed ending with a cup of coffee to taste!
Day 9: Cocora Valley and Salento Town
A private guide will take them around the majestic Cocora Valley today, home to the wax palm, Colombia’s national tree. They will explore by foot and horse-back and then end with a visit to the picturesque and historic town of Salento.
Day 10: Fly from Armenia to Cartegena
After flying from Armenia to Cartegena, Rebecca and Dean will have the day to explore Cartagena’s breathtaking colonial architecture, horse-drawn carriages and narrow cobbled streets. Cartagena is a truly vibrant and colourful city!
Day 11: Cartagena Colonial Tour and Salsa Class
A guide will take them around colonial Cartagena today to see the highlights of this impressive and remarkable city. The rest of the afternoon will be at leisure. In the evening, a fun class of salsa will be had at the Crazy Salsa Studio.
Day 12: Isla Grande Day Excursion
Rebecca and Dean will visit Isla Grande in the Rosario Islands today by shared motorboat. Once on the island, they will have the chance to swim in the sea, snorkel the parks coral reefs and explore the mangrove habitats and lagoons. They can enjoy lunch and also choose to have a massage and enjoy some cocktails!
Day 13: Day at leisure in Cartagena
The day is free to enjoy the day strolling around Cartagena, the fairy-tale city of romance and legends. This stunning and extremely colourful city will take their breath away.
Day 14-21: Cartagena to Curacao
Rebecca and Dean will fly to Curacao today for their seven night luxury beach retreat. Whilst in Curacao, they can enjoy lazy days relaxing by the sea, romantic evening sunset strolls with cocktails, snorkeling, luxurious spa treatments and sumptuous meals. A fantastic way to end their dream honeymoon.
Day 21: Fly back to the UK
Rebecca and Dean will fly back to the UK today, arriving home the following day.
