Day 1: Fly from UK to Siem Reap
Depart from London Heathrow today on an indirect flight with Singapore Airlines via Singapore to Siem Reap.

Day 2: Land into Siem Reap
On arrival into Siem Reap, get through passport control, security and collect your bags before meeting your driver in the arrival’s hall. They will take you via private vehicle to your first accommodation.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Angkor Wat Tour
This morning you will wake up very early to depart your hotel at 4.45am in order to see the incredible sunrise at Angkor Wat. The pre-dawn view provides a tranquil feeling before a lot of other tourists arrive to see this incredible area.
After you have explored and learnt about Angkor Wat, return to your hotel for breakfast and a refresh before setting off on the 2nd part of your day.
Your trip will start with a visit to Angkor Thom, the ancient royal city of the Khmer Empire, and you will visit the Bayon Temple before reaching the Terrace of the Leper King and the Terrace of the Elephants, which served as a platform where the King would welcome back his victorious army after battles.
Next you’ll head to Ta Prohm, considered to be Angkor’s most beautiful structure with fig trees surrounding the area. Once you’ve finished up you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing onwards.
In the afternoon you’ll visit Angkor Wat again and learn about this temple complex which covers 81 hectares and the 5 main towers which feature on the Cambodian flag.

Day 4: Kulen Mountain Excursion
Your trip starts after breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be picked up and taken on a 1-hour scenic drive to Phnom Kulen Mountain. This mountain is considered to be the most sacred mountain in Cambodia. Here you will visit a pagoda with incredible views of the Angkor area, and the 8 metre tall statue of a reclining buddha.
After this you will continue on to the River of One Thousand Lingas and the waterfall nearby where you can enjoy a refreshing swim before having lunch at the Bong Thom homestay to have an authentic traditional Cambodian lunch.

Day 5: Fly to Sihanoukville
Today you’ll meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel after you have checked out, in order to catch your flight to Sihanoukville for the next part of your incredible trip.

Day 6: Free Day
You have a free day today, take a dip in the Tatai river, relax on the sun deck with a drink from your minibar, or enjoy complimentary use of the kayaks during the day and evening.
Other activities/day trips you can book onto locally are a Tatai River Sunset Cruise, Dawn Jungle Trek, Waterfalls, and even a walk of Koh Andet Island to immerse yourself in the like of the Khmer people, visiting locals, viewing traditional Cambodian architecture and getting a feel for life here.

Days 7: Travel to Koh Rong Island
After breakfast, meet your guide and driver at your hotel and hop on board your private vehicle to head down to Sihanoukville boat pier.
From Sihanoukville boat pier take a shared speedboat transfer over to Koh Rong island and head to your resort to check in for a 4 night stay.

Day 11: Transfer to Phnom Penh
From Koh Rong Island you will take a shared speedboat transfer back to Sihanoukville boat pier in order to meet your guide and driver for the remaining part of your journey.
Once you’ve met your driver and guide at the pier, take your private vehicle for the rest of your journey up to Phnom Penh.
Check in on arrival for your 3-night stay.

Day 12: Phnom Penh City Tour
Following breakfast at your hotel you will be picked up ready for a full day of exploring in Phnom Penh. First on the agenda is a visit to the S21 Detention Centre and the Killing Field of Choeung Ek. These two places are very graphic and disturbing as they highlight the atrocities committed against an entire population during one of the most terrifying periods in Cambodia’s history, but it is very much worth a visit to learn all about this.
Next up you will visit the Russian Market, named this due to how popular it was among Russian expats during the 1980s. The market itself is full of energy and offers a treasure trove of things to buy.
Stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
Setting out this afternoon you will visit the iconic National Museum. Here you will be guided by one of the museums experts to view some of the most fascinating parts of the museum. After a visit here you will carry on to the Royal Palace and then onto the Central Market.
Finish up with a drink in a sunset bar to reflect on the incredible day you’ve just had whilst watching the sun go down.

Day 13: Oudong Mountain Tour
Today a visit to the abandoned Royal Capital of Oudong is on the cards. This area was the capital of the Khmer Empire from the 17
th century until 1866 when Phnom Penh took over. You will find many temples and religious structures here as well as stupas containing the remains of several Khmer Kings. The summit of Phnom Oudong offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
After a walking tour you will receive a personal blessing by the monks in which they will perform a traditional ceremony. It is believed that this ceremony cleanses bad spirits from the past and brings good luck for the coming year.
You will then do as locals do and enjoy a picnic lunch in a shady spot before transferring back to your hotel for the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 14: Fly back to the UK
Time to go home… This morning, after breakfast, you’ll be collected for a transfer to Phnom Penh Airport and from here you’ll catch your flight back to London with Singapore Airlines via Singapore, landing the following day.
